At Autokid Mobility Solutions, we know that every journey begins with a purpose. Whether it’s a truck delivering goods across provinces, a service vehicle supporting communities, or a father working tirelessly to provide for his family, every mile traveled carries a deeper meaning. Behind every success story is someone who chooses to keep moving forward—not for themselves, but for the people they love.
This Father’s Day, we celebrate the men who embody what it means to be an Everyday Hero. Not through grand gestures or extraordinary achievements, but through the daily choices they make to protect, guide, and inspire their families. One of those fathers is Mr. Ryan Milagroso, Marketing Supervisor at Autokid Mobility Solutions and proud father to three-year-old Rylan Sage.
The Day Everything Changed
For Mr. Ryan, fatherhood wasn’t something that instantly sank in. Like many first-time dads, the reality took time to settle. But there was one moment he will never forget.
“Yung unang beses ko siyang nakita, yung unang beses ko siyang nabuhat, yung unang beses ko siyang binantayang natutulog. Hindi ko maipaliwanag yung naramdaman ko. Ang tangi ko lang sigurong description ay purong saya.”
That moment marked the beginning of a new chapter—one that would redefine his priorities, his perspective, and his purpose. As the months passed, fatherhood became more real with every decision he made. No longer were choices based solely on his own dreams or plans. Every decision now carries the weight of a family’s future.
“Yung mga decision ko hindi na lang para sa akin. Hindi lang para sa partner ko, kundi para rin sa anak ko. Lagi kong tinitimbang kung makakabuti ba ito sa pamilya ko.”
The Practical Side of Love
Fatherhood is often celebrated through emotional moments, but Mr. Ryan believes that love is also expressed through preparation, responsibility, and practical care. One of the biggest challenges he faced as a father came when Rylan was hospitalized due to asthma.
Watching his child struggle was difficult enough. Facing the emotional and financial impact made it even harder.
“Kapag nagkakasakit yung anak mo, damay lahat yan—financially, emotionally, stress. Yun yung isa sa pinakamahirap.”
But rather than allowing the experience to defeat them, Mr. Ryan and his partner turned it into a lesson. They researched, planned, and secured insurance to better protect their family in the future. For him, being a father isn’t only about solving problems today—it’s about preparing for tomorrow. That is practical care in its truest form. Not just providing, but protecting. And not just reacting, but preparing.
The Legacy Beyond Success
Ask Mr. Ryan what he wants his son to become someday, and his answer may surprise many parents. For him, fatherhood isn’t about raising a future executive, celebrity, or millionaire. It’s not about titles, wealth, or status. What matters most is something far simpler—and far more meaningful.
“Wala akong pakialam kung ano yung gusto niyang maging paglaki. Ang gusto ko lang ay maging mabuti siyang tao.”
For Mr. Ryan, a father’s greatest legacy is not measured by achievements but by character. While many parents dream of their children reaching great heights, he believes that success means little if it isn’t accompanied by kindness, respect, and compassion for others. More than anything, he hopes his son grows up with a good heart and a genuine concern for the people around him. That belief comes from a lesson he carries closely in life. As Mr. Ryan puts it:
“Hindi naman naaalala ang tao dahil sa narating nila. Mas naaalala nila kung gaano sila naging mabuti sa iba.”
It’s a simple perspective, yet one that carries lifelong value. Careers may change, accomplishments may fade, and material possessions may come and go, but the way we treat people leaves a lasting impact. For Mr. Ryan, being a father means teaching his son that true success is not defined by what you have, but by the kind of person you choose to be. And perhaps that is one of the most meaningful legacies any father can leave behind.
The Legacy of Showing Up
Much of Mr. Ryan’s approach to fatherhood was inspired by his own father, who taught him that life is a lot like basketball—success doesn’t come from playing alone.
“Parang basketball lang din ang buhay. Kailangan may play para pumuntos ka. Kailangan matuto ka ring pumasa.”
That lesson taught him that being strong doesn’t always mean carrying every burden by yourself. Sometimes, strength means asking for help, leaning on family, and trusting the people around you.
“Nakagisnan natin na kapag tatay ka, kailangan mong solohin ang problema. Pero hindi naman sa lahat ng oras dapat ganun. Kailangan mo rin ng masasandalan.”
As Marketing Supervisor at Autokid Mobility Solutions, Mr. Ryan often spends long days on the road, traveling across cities and provinces to document the stories of clients and communities. While work sometimes keeps him away from home, he makes it a point to make every moment with his family count when he returns.
“Ang work-life balance hindi ibig sabihin 50-50. Minsan kailangan mong magsakripisyo ng oras para makapag-provide. Pero kapag nakauwi ka, siguraduhin mong napupunan mo yung mga panahong nawala.”
For Mr. Ryan, being a father isn’t about being present every minute—it’s about being fully present whenever you can. Through every sacrifice, every lesson, and every effort to make time for his family, he shows that a father’s legacy is built not through perfection, but through consistently showing up for the people he loves.
