QUEZON CITY—Autokid Subic Trading Corporation (ASTC) is now a genuine spare parts outlet of Sojitz Fuso Philippines Corporation (SFP), also known simply as Fuso, in the country. In a press release published on April 16, the Japanese manufacturer of trucks and buses made the partnership with the local spare parts retailer ‘in pursuit of providing customers broader access to Fuso genuine parts to ensure quality and reliability.’

‘ASTC is very excited [about] this partnership with SFP,’ says Autokid Executive Vice President Eric Lim. He also adds, ‘we are in line with Fuso’s mission to help in lessening the downtime of truckers.’

‘With the start of this fruitful relationship,’ Fuso writes in their press release. ‘SFP recognizes not only the business advantage but most especially the strong partnership, given the shared commitment to readily serve valued customers.’

‘With the commercial vehicle industry being challenged by the pandemic,’ writes SFP President Yoshihisa Hosaka to Lim. ‘SFP’s partnership with ASTC is very timely as it provides our valued clients more options in purchasing Fuso Genuine Parts.’

‘Coming from ASTC’s expertise in the automotive spare parts supply chain and their dedication to help commerce move,’ the SFP president adds. ‘[W]e are confident that ASTC is with us in uplifting Fuso Philippines’ customer service.’

Based in Kawasaki in Japan, Fuso is one of Asia’s leading commercial vehicle manufacturers. It is owned by well-known automobile manufacturer Mitsubishi.
