The League of Cities of the Philippines (LCP) is the official association of cities in the country, represented by their respective mayors. It serves as a platform to ventilate, articulate, and crystallize issues affecting city governments and urban communities, fostering collaboration that uplifts local governance across the nation. Know more about it here.
In the global context, organizations like the National League of Cities share this mission, bringing together city, town, and village leaders with one goal in mind: to improve the quality of life for both present and future generations.
A Gathering for Progress and Unity
On August 8, 2025, the League of Cities of the Philippines (LCP) marked a milestone as it held its 75th General Assembly at the prestigious Conrad Manila in Pasay City. City mayors and leaders from across the nation gathered under one roof, each sharing the challenges, success stories, and visions that shape their local government units. It was more than just a formal assembly; it was an exchange of experiences and solutions, a collective effort to strengthen the future of our cities.
Amid this dynamic forum, Autokid Mobility Solutions was proud to stand alongside the country’s most dedicated leaders. Representing the company was Sir Edison, Head of the Sales & Marketing Division, who delivered a message that spoke directly to the heart of public service and the importance of mobility in driving progress.
He painted a clear picture: that the Philippines is a country of beauty and resilience, but also one that faces storms, floods, and challenges that ripple through every aspect of life. From health and education to infrastructure and emergency response. In 2024 alone, more than 3.5 million Filipinos were affected by typhoons, with hundreds injured and dozens of lives lost. Landslides and flash floods claimed over 100 lives and displaced thousands more. These are just some of the challenges our nation faces year after year.
“These aren’t just numbers or headlines,” he said. “These are real people, your people.” Then came the line that resonated with everyone in the room: “In times like these, trucks are no longer just machines. They become lifelines.”
It’s this belief that drives Autokid to work side-by-side with local governments, making sure the right trucks, equipment, and services are ready to keep progress moving. Whether it’s public works, waste management, infrastructure, or emergency response, Autokid delivers where it matters most.
With 17 branches nationwide, a dedicated Action Center, ISO-certified service facilities, mobile servicing, and strong after-sales support, Autokid makes sure that when urgency strikes, leaders have the tools to act fast and act right.
Since 2023, Autokid Mobility Solutions has stood with the League of Cities of the Philippines, driving not just trucks, but lasting change for the communities we all serve. Sir Edison closed with a call to action:
“At Autokid, we move lives. We serve with purpose. And together, we move the country forward.”
