As Autokid Truck Solutions closes its Chapter 2023, their significant contributions to the trucking industry were recognized by the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) having been awarded the Mabuhay Business Award MSMEs of the Year under the medium category.

The awarding ceremony was held last December 15, 2023, at the Subic Bay Exhibition and Convention Center wherein Kevin Yao, CEO of Autokid, received the award. The awarding ceremony awarded several businesses, recognizing their significant contribution to the continuing growth and development of the Subic Bay Freeport Zone, steering this premiere economic zone to where it is today in the local and international market.

According to Autokid Executive Vice President Eric Lim, winning the MSMEs of the Year award served as a validation of the company’s goal of empowering enterprises.

“Winning the MSMEs of the Year award is a validation of our goal to empower enterprises to achieve greater heights. It is a step closer for Autokid to being a premier brand for Truck Solutions in the country,” Lim expressed.

Furthermore, Lim shared the challenges that Autokid overcame and how it has shaped the company’s growth.

“Challenges such as market competition, operational efficiency, and adapting to industry changes are some examples. However, these challenges have made us stronger,” Lim shared.

Lastly, Lim expressed its gratitude to each member of the Autokid Family for their commitment towards improvement, adding how their success is a reflection of the hard work and passion of everyone in the company, led by their leader and visionary CEO Kevin Yao.

Since 2014, Autokid has been operating at the Subic Bay Freeport. The company’s presence in this strategic location has allowed it to efficiently serve its customers and contribute to the economic development of the region.

Subic Bay Freeport is strategically located in the Central Luzon region of the Philippines, allowing investors to source their manpower needs from the region’s wide manpower pool of 3.5 million, which is the third largest in the country.
